Newspapers in Transition
My pieces are about newspapers in transition. Having had a large circulation for many years, they are now being replaced by digital media.
When I started weaving with plastic wrappers, I was surprised to see the many colors in my weavings. To me, they symbolize what newspapers give us: a connection to global events as much as to local happenings in our community.
